Another Business Bites The Dust

We decided to go out for dinner tonight after spending hours-on-end updating web information we thought we would treat ourselves and go out to one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. When we go there we noticed a sign that read we will be closing as of

November 2, 2008 because of the economy but we will still be catering small and large events no event is too small for us to cater, as I read the sign my stomach shrunk.

We were seated at our table with our favorite homemade potato chips fresh in the basket, as we discussed the restaurant closing we felt the crunch on the economy not knowing where tomorrow will really lead us, not to mention November 4th Election Day.

Even the ride seemed kind of gloomy to think that Obama could possibly be our next President of the United States we both thought that America must be reaching its Judgment Day with even the terrorist endorsing Senator Obama. Is he even a true citizen of the United Sates with his personal relationships with known Ayers he would not even qualify to be his own personal body guard what makes people sure that he is qualified to be the next president just because he is a good speaker and orator. He sounds like the devil in lambs clothing!

Sarah Rocked Tonight's Debate

We were very pleased with the Vice Presidential Debate tonight!

We prayed for Sarah before dinner tonight and just knew that God would lead her and give her favor with the people, and favor Sarah Palin received.

Senator Biden even lost it at one point and Sarah took over the Debate to cover him, without pointing out his weakness!
She took over the debate with confidence!

Sarah rocked tonight!

I even took time to shop at www.lipstickforpitbulls.com after the debate to bring more encouragement! I cannot wait to get my new lipsticks, case and T-Shirt.

We have great respect for Sarah Palin and we are praying that they slip right through the media bureaucracy into the White House.

As a lipstick slips comfortably back into the case.

America is ready for a change, and a change is what Sarah Palin brings with her own track record how she turned Alaska around! I pray that the American people have the wisdom to see through all the lies and promises and see that McCain and Palin are the right ticket to follow. America has suffered enough it is time now to rebuild, and to rebuild with wisdom and not put our President or Vice President in harm’s way! As Sarah said, no one of threat should be met without preconditions. It is naïve to believe that we can meet with people that hate Americans. We have to have our sanctions lined up! We cannot expect our President to sit with our enemies and put his life and our country in jeopardy, it would be a double jeopardy.

America changed 9-11 and we will never be the same there are people that hate and despise us and want to see America fall, we need to make sure on November the 4th that we choose the right candidates that can lead and protect our country without putting our country in harm’s way!

America is that great beacon of light that says
Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teeming shore,

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!

Grandparent Rights In Oklahoma

I sadly found out that in the State of Oklahoma that Grandparent Rights have been abolished!

I lost my daughter July 16, 2008 and now I find out that I not only suffer the loss of her, but her 4 children as well!

In 2006 a bill was passed that ended Grandparent Rights in Oklahoma.

I was naïve enough to believe that if God made you a grandparent, you were a grandparent for life, not so in Oklahoma.

I spoke to two local attorney that fought for Grandparent Rights, and they both informed me that you have to prove that the children could possibly be in danger if you are not a part of their lives to keep it monitored to make sure that the surviving parent does not allow trash in his house that could put the children in danger!

Are you kidding I asked, we have reported to DHS three consecutive times about the children being neglected, abused, and sexually abused.

Not enough, the attorneys replied if DHS did not find anything on the surviving parent you could be considered a nuisance by the Oklahoma Judge.

Wait a minute didn’t I help elect that judge?

The attorney informed me that Grandparent Rights in Oklahoma are as hard and sometimes as costly as Child Custody cases.

I just have to say we have come a long way Oklahoma

You should be proud!

I have a gift and trade that I wanted to pass on to the next generation, but I am told that I may never see my Grandchildren again, not until they can start driving and make their way to our home, but I am sure by then that enough time will pass and they will forget about the Grandparents that went to Wal-Mart in the wee hours for cold medicine, or the Grandparents that were there to pay the utility bills when mom and dad could not pay them, and the many celebrations we celebrated as a family on Birthdays and Holidays.

I will have to answer to these children one day and tell them why we never got to see them again, but what about you Oklahoma what will you say, when the child comes up with another cigarette burn on her arm, or one of the boys tells you that the girlfriend will not stop touching him on his private, the child that cannot eat and is under weight 24lb 4 year-old because her teeth are rotten, the little girl with Lazy Eye that was never taken to a doctor. “Abuse” “Neglect”

What will be your excuse Oklahoma when they had loving Grandparents praying for them every night to keep them from harm’s way!

How will you look these 4 (four) children in their eyes?

They lost their mother now they cannot see their Grandparents!
I would really like to know how President elect John McCain stands on Grandparent Rights!

God bless Oklahoma

Some Are Intoxicated By the Obama Momma

Sarah Palin brings hope to a bright future for the American woman!  She is someone that all women can  relate too, she works and is a mother, she shows the American woman that you can work and have it all too! She scares the opposite side because she can juggle a family and career too! Even Oprah Winfrey does't know what to do, she thought she could sway the American vote with her good deeds, but the wise know you cannot get to Heaven on good deeds alone, especially when you put the spirit before Jesus.
I still yet to figure out exactly what Oprah Winfrey believes in maybe she believes in Oprah?
I always thought there was something different about her, that she couldn't be trusted completely!
She would always get me, when she would say let the spirit move, but she never explained which spirit, I think
she greaty deceived many!
Obama is still trying to figure out how he lost control, as if he was side swipped on the political highway maybe he was putting too much faith in Oprah! He thought he had America in his hands because the United States is mostly women and you know the show mostly watched by American women. "The Oprah Winfrey Show" he sees that the world is falling for a woman that stole a country's heart!
Everyone is wanting to know more about Sarah Palin, and the more we find out, the more America loves this woman. She has the class of a Jackie Kennedy Onasis, without all the drama. America sees a new Camelot in the awakening of a new birth of a star.
And it isn't Obama with his planned speeches and his schemes of a socialized world.
I don't really see how anyone can trust Obama, he sounds like a strong mixed drink Obama Momma that lands you on your tail. Personally, I like to stay sober minded and not sip
from the Obama cocktail. When you have one of those you cannot feel the shock and awe when your 30,000 feet up in the air, until it is too late, and you say oh, momma why did I have so much of that Obama Momma?
Then comes Sarah the sober minded that the Obama followers are scared of afraid the truth will come out about the Obama Cocktail that is getting the vulnerbale drunk where they see out of fog covered glasses going back to the age of "free love" "drugs" "sex and no responsibilities, if it makes you feel good who cares you sipped from the Obama Momma Cocktail the flourescent lights are taken from the dusty closet. Alec Balwin, Matt Damon, George Clooney  the list of Hollywood's pretty faces that drink the Obama Momma Cocktail ready to pour and party only a man on the screen those who never showed any bravery in real life only on the silver screen.

Sarah Palin, Our New Esther

When I read Esther, I see the many qualities in Sarah Palin that shows a woman sent by God. When I study and read the Bible I see how God used women in the Bible, and placed them to be powerful women that really gave the orders to kings. I see this in the story of Esther. I see this same quality in Sarah Palin not that she is going to out shine John McCain, but that a woman with her caliber can hold her place in such a position. Only a true woman sent by God could really make the changes that need to be made.  She is a woman of faith that all the previous women in history dreamed of that would one day step into this position, and thank God it is not Hillary Clinton. When I look back at history and see how women were jailed and beaten because they wanted the "Right to Vote."

The women were innocent and defenseless, but they were jailed
nonetheless for picketing the White House, carrying signs asking
for the vote.
And by the end of the night, they were barely alive.
Forty prison guards wielding clubs and their warden's blessing
went on a rampage against the 33 women wrongly convicted of
'obstructing sidewalk traffic.'

They beat Lucy Burns, chained her hands to the cell bars above

her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping
for air.

They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her
head against an iron bed and knocked her out cold. Her cellmate,
Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead and suffered a heart attack.
Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging,
beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women.

Thus unfolded the
'Night of Terror' on Nov. 15, 1917
when the warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his
guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because
they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson's White House for the right
to vote.
For weeks, the women's only water came from an open pail. Their
food--all of it colorless slop--was infested with worms.

When one of the leaders, Alice Paul, embarked on a hunger strike, they tied her to a chair, forced a tube down her throat and poured liquid into her until she vomited. She was tortured like this for weeks
until word was smuggled out to the press.
So, refresh my memory. Some women won't vote this year because-
-why, exactly? We have carpool duties? We have to get to work?
Our vote doesn't matter? It's raining?

Last week, I went to a sparsely attended screening of HBO's new

movie 'Iron Jawed Angels.' It is a graphic depiction of the battle
these women waged so that I could pull the curtain at the polling
booth and have my say. I am ashamed to say I needed the reminder.

All these years later, voter registration is still my passion. But the

actual act of voting had become less personal for me, more rote.
Frankly, voting often felt more like an obligation than a privilege.
Sometimes it was inconvenient.

My friend Wendy, who is my age and studied women's history,

saw the HBO movie, too. When she stopped by my desk to talk
about it, she looked angry. She was--with herself. 'One thought
kept coming back to me as I watched that movie,' she said.
'What would those women think of the way I use, or don't use,
my right to vote? All of us take it for granted now, not just
younger women, but those of us who did seek to learn.' The
right to vote, she said, had become valuable to her 'all over again.'

HBO released the movie on video and DVD. I wish all history,

social studies and government teachers would include the movie in
their curriculum I want it shown on Bunco night, too, and anywhere
else women gather. I realize this isn't our usual idea of socializing,
but we are not voting in the numbers that we should be, and I think
a little shock therapy is in order.

It is jarring to watch Woodrow Wilson and his cronies try to persuade a psychiatrist to declare Alice Paul insane so that she could be permanently institutionalized. And it is inspiring to watch the doctor refuse. Alice Paul was strong, he said, and brave. That didn't make her crazy.

The doctor admonished the men: 'Courage in women is often mistaken for insanity.'

Please, if you are so inclined, pass this on to all the women you know.

We need to get out and vote and use this right that was fought so

hard for by these very courageous women. Whether you vote democratic, republican or independent party - remember to vote.

History is being made.

I look at Sarah and see that it was all worth it. Don't let these women down to have suffered in vain!

Sarah Palin is fresh and a spirited individual that I will say 10 years from now I will proudly say, that I voted for her and what she stood for.  I feel a new era for the women of the United States and I think every woman should get off her couch and vote, so what if the cookies are in the oven, turn the oven off and vote.  You may never have the chance again to make a difference in this world, now is the opportunity it is Sarah. I think it is going to be an interesting change that takes place and one that we will all be eager to follow. I think she is a great role model someone that all young girls and women alike can all look up to! Thanks, John McCain for showing that behind every successful man is a woman! Cindy is a keeper too!
